Chapter 2. Using MrclDict

Starting MrclDict gives you a Main window show in Figure 2-1

To lookup a word definition, just type the word in the lookup bar, and click Lookup or press ENTER key.
The default MrclDict configuration will try to send your query to port 2628 of the server at The DICT Development Group.

If a word is found, MrclDict show the definition in it result window as in Figure 2-1. Otherwise, it try to lookup again use default matching algorithm (which is Levenshtein distance one) and show the result as in Figure 2-2.
